Alison Deans GAICD

Alison DeansAlison has played key roles in building some of Australia’s leading Internet businesses. She was the first managing director of eBay Australia and New Zealand, responsible for launching and building the eBay business in Australia. She was also Chief Executive Officer of ecorp, a technology focused listed investment company, which built a portfolio of digital businesses including ninemsn, eBay, Ticketek and Wizard. Most recently, she was CEO of Netus, a technology-based investment company focused on building consumer web businesses in Australia. Netus was acquired by Fairfax in December 2012.

Alison was previously the CEO of Hoyts Cinemas and has eight years’ experience with McKinsey & Company. She has a Masters in Natural Sciences (Physics) from Cambridge University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Alison is currently a non-executive director of Insurance Australia Group, Westpac Banking Group, Cochlear Limited and kikki.K Group.

Tony Faure

Tony is an active investor in disruptive digital and data companies and has a long career at the cutting edge of the digital economy.

He is currently Chairman of Stackla, which is a marketing software platform; Junkee Media, which is a digital media company focused on the youth market; and Pollenizer, which uses start-up science to create new enterprises.  He is also Non-Executive Director of oOh! Media, Medical Channel and biNu.

Previously he was Regional Vice President, South Asia at Yahoo!, CEO of ninemsn, CEO of HomeScreen Entertainment and served in board roles at Lasttix, Seek and i-select.  He is also a long-standing member of the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s Advisory Board. Tony lives in Sydney with his wife Camille and their five children.

Bart Vogel GAICD

Bart has over 33 years’ experience in the Technology, Telecommunications and Media industries. His experience includes 20 years in management consulting and 13 years as a business leader in the technology industry. In his most recent executive role Bart was the CEO of Asurion Australia. Prior to joining Asurion he was a Partner in the Sydney office of Bain & Company, a leading global strategy consulting firm. Before Bain Bart was with Lucent Technologies, initially as the CEO of Lucent Technologies Australia/New Zealand and then as the President of Lucent Technologies Asia Pacific. During the first 13 years of his career Bart was with Deloitte Consulting and then became one of the early founding partners of AT Kearney in Australia.

Bart has a BCom (Hons) from the University of Witwatersrand and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Bart is currently a Non-Executive Director on the boards of Macquarie Telecom Limited, Infomedia Limited and BAI Communications. Bart is also a director of the Children’s Cancer Institute.
