Jo Brennan

Jo BrennanJo Brennan is a General Manager with Comminsure at the Commonwealth Bank and brings 25 years of executive leadership experience working across a diverse range of industries including finance, insurance, energy and not-for-profit. In 2009 Jo moved from her role as Head, Global Operations with Macquarie Bank to spend three years as the Chief Executive Officer of Habitat for Humanity in Australia before returning to the commercial sector.

She remains passionate about international development and helping people find a way to make a difference. She is a member of the ChildFund Australia board and volunteers with the Indo-China Australia Foundation and Legacy.

Jo has a Bachelor of Education and Masters degrees in Education and Management.

Sanjiv Midha

San MidhaSanjiv (San) was appointed Deputy Secretary for Agency, Budget and Policy for New South Wales Treasury in May 2016. He previously held the position of Managing Director with Santander Bank UK .

San provides high levels of strategic advice to the Secretary and Treasurer in respect to major economic policy and fiscal management issues, agency budget and policy issues, and commercial policy and transaction advice and execution that take into account whole-of-Government priorities and risks.

Prior to his role with New South Wales Treasury, San worked for Santander in the UK where his objectives achieved included, growing market share of businesses with turnover between £250k and £2bn while delivering a long-term leadership model.

San holds an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Vivek Bhatia

Vivek BhatiaVivek Bhatia is the CEO and Managing Director of icare, delivering insurance and care services to the people of NSW. Prior to icare, Vivek was the CEO and Board member of Safety Return to Work and Support (SRWS), Chair of the former Dust Diseases Board and the Head of Asbestos Coordination Authority, and the NSW Member on the Board of SafeWork Australia.

Before joining SRWS in 2014, Vivek was CEO of Wesfarmers Insurance, responsible for leading the multi-brand, multi-channel insurer through a significant transformation journey. He was also co-lead of McKinsey & Company’s Asia Pacific Restructuring & Transformation practice, and has held several other prominent leadership roles in strategy, operations and technology at Wesfarmers Insurance and QBE in Australia and overseas.

Vivek has a degree in Engineering, an MBA in Strategy and is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst.
