The client:
A publicly listed top 200 ASX organisation in the entertainment and media sector, going through a period of crisis management.
The brief:
The business required an Interim CFO to provide gravitas and seasoned expertise to address a period of crisis for the organisation. The incumbent CFO had left the organisation and a search process for a permanent placement had been unsuccessful. It was likely that there would be continued instability for the foreseeable future and therefore an interim solution was of benefit in order to bring about stability, address the crisis at hand, keep the team motivated and engaged through this period of change.
Watermark’s solution & outcome:
A shortlist of pre-qualified candidates was pulled together within 24 hours. The list of suitable candidates, available immediately, who fit this very specific brief, were interviewed and a successful candidate was appointed within a week. This allowed the CEO and Board to focus on strategic direction and decision making.
Client testimonial:
“Watermark were able to very quickly assess our needs and get some great calibre candidates for us to have a look at. We were in a tricky situation and it was great to be able to rely on the professionalism of Caroline and her team to get us through.”
