The Client:
A not-for-profit organisation, who had gone through significant change in the COVID-19 environment and were tasked by the board to re-design the organisation for the future and to restructure. At the time they had no HR function, so an Interim HR Executive was needed to assist the CEO on the restructure, redundancies, transformation and cultural impact.
The Brief:
An Interim HR Executive who could assist with the above for a period of 2-3 months. Further, they would be required to create a new health and well-being program for all staff as many employees were experiencing anxiety and mental health issues due to COVID-19, so program creation and roll-out experience was highly sought after. The Interim HR Executive also had to be a good change manager with great stakeholder engagement and communications experience as some employees were resistant to change.
Watermark’s Solution & Outcome:
A shortlist of pre-qualified candidates was put together within 2 days. The list of suitable candidates, all available immediately, were interviewed and a successful candidate was appointed within a week. This allowed the organisation re-design and restructure, as well as the health and well-being program, to start almost immediately.
